Default Quest for Farmin

I was just wondering do I need to complete the "To Sorrow's Furnace" quest to be able to go and farm there with a group?

If so would anyone be willing to work the quest with me in game? If not, would someone still be willing to work it with me for the xp?

Thanks,

Padishah Kinsar

No, you can actually enter Sorrow's Furnace without any of the quest people. The "To Sorrow's Furnace" quest is optional.

well , for better farm runs you need FA - Final Assault Quest , and that one you only get afaik after completing the other sorrow quests .. so in a way the anser is .. YES !

do all sorrow quests first , then let the farm begin ..

While you can go in SF without the quests, I would highly recommend doing some of them just to get used to the layout (there is no mini-map available while in SF). I would at least try the Galen Trask quest, this gives you the opportunity to explore SF without having to deal with fighting any mobs (unless you take the mini-quests while inside, but even then the fighting is minimal).

As far as the final assault farming goes you don't actually need to have the quest yourself to do this, just need to have someone in your party that has it.

EDIT: here is a link to help with galen trask quest http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=71936

the drop rates aren't better for Final Assault farming or anything, the only thing is you pretty much know where your bosses/mobs will be. Also RAGO is always found at the end and EVERYONE is trying to get that staff

The only reason FA farming is my preferred method is that with a small team (4 or 5) you can hit like 5 or 6 bosses in a 30 minute period. I know certain bosses only appear on Orozar quest, but for quick runs FA is the way to go!

yup FA runs are the fastest way to make fast money off farming greens, most of the best green drops drop from the bosses that spawn in FA

How many bosses are there in FA quest? I can only find 4. 2 of em to the right and through the doors near the start and the last two near the end.

If you make a b-line for Rago and Brim, it's a total of 6 along the way.

A) Mal & Raz
B) Ivor & Gardock
C) Rago & Brim

Currently, the only thing I need to complete my collection is Mal's shield.

If there's any more bosses I haven't found any.
